I saw this video on Facebook and it was so incredibly moving that I had to share. It documents fashion bloggers who visit the people who actually make some of their clothing. They are reduced to tears when they hear about the conditions under which some of the workers live and work. When one woman describes how her mother died in poverty, the blogger cannot contain her tears. Fast fashion has many fans, some of which I know. I encourage people to get to know the makers behind their clothing, especially if they frequent these stores. Clothing comes from somewhere. It's not automated. Someone has to sit at a machine and make the clothes we wear. Many of these people suffer so that consumers can pay minimal amounts for their clothing. This video gives a peek into their lives.
