Makers Matter: Values of Local Production in NYC Panel

I had the pleasure of speaking on a panel discussion about the Made in NYC movement that is currently gaining traction in the fashion industry. Bob Bland from Manufacture NY and Bernaldo Ortiz from Hanky Panky brought their expertise to the discussion. It was moderated by author Elizabeth Cline. We discussed the city government's take on the movement, the response from consumers, how local manufacturing affects the end price and what we hope for the future of the manufacturing sector in NYC. Many thanks to Trim Lab, our hosts.
